Complex care in Bishop Auckland
Opening in 2025, Laurel Place will provide nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from brain injuries, dementia, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.
Our multi-disciplinary team, including Health Care Assistants, Registered Nurses, Life Skills Facilitators, a Physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist, will provide personalised care tailored to each individual.
Our holistic approach means people get the right care, from the right team, first time round.
With this approach, we aim to stop the cycle of failed placements.
Construction began in 2023 by contractor Walter Thompson, and we’re set to open our doors in 2025.

Our care
The people we'll support at Laurel Place would often be in a hospital or higher acuity setting if not placed with us.
Our care will enable them to stay in the community, closer to their loved ones.
