Our Torside Unit is exclusively for people who were assigned male at birth, who have a mental health condition and/or display complex behaviours of concern.
Located on Holywell Road in Sheffield, Willowbeck has 82 bedrooms across seven small, purpose-built units, creating a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.

Our trained team provides high acuity, nurse-led care services, particularly for individuals with secondary diagnoses, co-morbidities or those who’ve experienced previous failed placements.

Willowbeck has 82 bedrooms, each with an en-suite, across seven units.
With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.
The home has communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, a therapy kitchen, a therapy treatment room and a large accessible garden.
We offer a variety of accessible baths and showers for a range of mobility needs.
Willowbeck is near local amenities and transport links, helping people stay connected to the community.
Ladybower Unit
Ladybower Unit supports adults living with complex health needs who need nursing care. Our Ladybower Team is trained to support people with tracheostomies and PEG feeding tubes, as well as those who need stretchers or specialist positioning. Our Physiotherapy Team is based in this unit.
Torside Unit
Torside Unit supports adults living with complex mental health needs who display behaviours of concern. The unit is exclusively for those who were assigned male at birth.
Howden Unit
Howden Unit supports younger adults living with complex mental health needs. Howden is an active unit, with lots going on.
Rivelin Unit
Rivelin Unit supports adults living with complex mental health needs and some physical health needs. The unit is exclusively for people who were assigned male at birth.
Thirlmere Unit
Thirlmere Unit supports adults living with complex mental health needs. It acts as a step-down option from Howden Unit. Our Thirlmere Team focuses on maximising independent living skills.
Derwent Unit
Derwent Unit supports older adults living with complex mental health needs who also have physical health needs. Life in Derwent Unit is very active, with access to our upper garden.
Abberton Unit
Abberton Unit supports adults living with complex care and health needs arising from physical disabilities.

Willowbeck is a short drive from the M1 and other major roads including Meadowhall Road.
If you're travelling south on the M1, follow the M1 towards Sheffield and take exit 34.
If you're travelling north on the M1, follow the M1 towards Tinsley, Sheffield and take exit 34.
Willowbeck is situated on Holywell Road opposite Cosmopolitan Engineering.
There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available along Holywell Road.
