About the role
Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
supporting people with their personal care
assisting people at meal times
understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
completing and maintaining care records
liaising with friends, relatives and other stake holders and promoting the profile of the home.
We have higher-than-average staffing levels when compared to other care providers. There are usually up to six colleagues on each unit that supports around ten people, giving you more time to spend with the people you support.

Getting to Bennett Court
Directions to Bennett Court
Bennett Court is a short drive from the A1 and other major roads including the A368 Doncaster Road and A628 Barnsley Road.
If you're travelling south on the A1, take the Redhouse Interchange Junction.
If you're travelling north on the A1, take junction 38 to Wakefield A638.
Bennett Court is on the corner of Ash Grove and Minsthorpe Lane, opposite Minsthorpe Community College and Minsthorpe Sports & Fitness.
There are limited parking spaces in the home's car park. Street parking is available along Ash Grove.
Public transport to Bennett Court
The home is a short walk from several bus stops.
Minsthorpe High School bus stop (stop ID: 45016487), which is accessed by buses 39 and 496.
Milnsthorpe High School Grounds bus stop (stop ID: 45025110) which is accessed by bus 249A.
There are two train stations in the local area.
South Elmsall - 0.7 miles away (15 minute walk).
Moorthorpe - 1.1 miles away) (24 minute walk).
